Meet Our Staff

Kim began working at Sullins Eye Care in January 2017. She enjoys adjusting and repairing patients' glasses as well as helping patients find the perfect pair or glasses or sunglasses. She started working in optical during her freshman year of college. When her boss discovered that she made her own jewelry, he taught her how to adjust and repair eyeglasses.

During her free time she love to dance, play Frisbee gold, as well as knitting, crocheting and jewelry making. She also serve as on altar guild at her church. 

Louanne has worked at Sullins Eye Care since 2011. She enjoys working with all our patients, making them feel comfortable and confident. 

When she's away from the office she loves time with her family, reading mysteries, and particularly enjoys visiting antique stores and thrift shops.

Janet has been with Sullins Eye Care since March 2014, and has been working in the optical field since 2009. She received a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Wichita State University, and is a member of the Madison Hospital Women's Council.

Originally from Kansas, Janet has relocated to Madison by marriage. Her family includes 6 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, travel, RVing and bicycling.

Nicole has been working with Sullins Eye Care since 2007. In addition to being an optician, Nicole is looking into studying herbal medicine and nutrition, and does photography as a side job.

Nicole's passion for animals is evident through her volunteer work at an avian sanctuary and her two pet parrots, Santiago and Phoenix. She loves music, photography, and spending time with her boyfriend, Joseph. Her faith in God is important to her.


Barbie has nine years of optical experience, and has been the contact lens specialist at our Huntsville location for four years now. She loves the satisfaction of helping people with their problems.

Barbie tries to live her life to the fullest, and not to waste a second of it. She loves books, music, television, and playing with her children. She also likes to explore nature trails, and spend time with her family and friends.

Susan has worked with Dr. Sullins since August 2005, and has been working in optical since about 1990. Susan feels fortunate to have experienced so many aspects of Optometry, from the front office to the dispensary. Her most rewarding experience has definitely been "dispensing glasses for the first time to a child who is visually impaired. The initial look on his/her face is surprise!"

Susan enjoys gardening, traveling, decorating, the beach, and riding motorcycles. She has one son, one daughter, a cat named Rosie, and a bull terrier named Tank.

Pam loves making sure patients are pleased with their experience in our optical where she has worked as an optician since Spring '09. An experienced optician, Pam has worked in the optical industry for 11 years. In her free time she enjoys Alabama football, and loves camping and fishing with her family. She has two daughters, two grandsons, one granddaughter and two step granddaughters.

Sabrina always knew she wanted to work in the medical field. She has been working with Sullins Eye Care since 1999 and is CPO certified. As the lab manager, she enjoys tackling any challenge and helping patients. She takes great enjoyment in every facet of her work.

In her spare time Sabrina enjoys camping and canoeing with her husband and two children. When she's not at the river she can be found attending her daughter sporting events. 


Lynne has worked in optical since 1990, and has been working with Dr. Sullins since 1999. She specializes in accounts management, and special projects, such as web design.

Lynne was raised in Huntsville, and received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from University of Alabama - Huntsville. In her spare time, Lynne likes to visit the beach and watch Alabama football with her friends and family, including her husband, three dogs, and her four beautiful children.

Kay is the front desk manager at the Madison office. Prior to working at Sullins Eye Care, Kay worked for several years in a human resources office. She also has experience in teaching, having taught third grade and worked extensively with Dyslexic students.

Kay's family includes her husband of 27 years, her son, who recently graduated college and lives in Atlanta, her daughter at AU, and her cat. In her spare time, Kay enjoys reading, music, walking/running, gardening, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
